Ben Burke and Joanne Papanikitas joined Zenon and Katherine Caravella on a 3 day trip in South Australia to visit our fabulous wineries. First stop was Simon Hackett followed by Jimmy Watson winners Scarpantoni Estate in picturesque McLaren Vale where we tried the latest vintages and new releases.

Barossa was next, where we met with Heidenreich Estate, Hartz Barn Wines and Sandy Godfrey of Godfrey’s Polished and Godfrey ranges, which Estate Wine Distributors QLD now proudly stock.

We also met with an iconic winery which (watch this space) we are close to agreeing to terms with, which will be a great boost to our portfolio.

The last day was dedicated to having a long, productive and enjoyable lunch with Frank Digiorgio, his wife Margot and SA consultant, Grant at Georges on Waymouth, which never ceases to impress us with the high quality of food and great service.

Overall, its always great to see where it all happens and discuss with our principals long term aspirations and goals. EWD are ever committed to being dedicated representation to our wineries and it was great to introduce to them our newest member of staff and main man in QLD, Ben Burke.
