GISA focuses on what regions do specific varieties well and attempts to produce a wine that reflects that region. 

GISA wines takes its name from the patriotic nature of the owner, Matthew Henbest. Making wine from fruit that only comes from the grape growing regions with-in South Australia. GISA stands for "Geographic Indicator South Australia" The 'GI' is the legal term for the region from which fruit is sourced. The GISA philosophy is to make very limited quantities of wine that show case firstly the variety, secondly the region and finally exhibit minimal vintage variation.
